What is happening to Women in today's society?

Before reading: a small word about this article:
You may think after reading this why I have written like this. Because I am meeting a lot of girls in today's society who are facing the same trouble. I felt that what is the use in saying Women are Empowered and they are not like olden days confined to the kitchen totally.It is not true as the olden days are coming back in many women's lives. Nothing has changed completely. Many women have to change and have to accept the truth that their son of today will be the husband for some other girl and what is the wrong in the daughter-in-law enjoying the money which her husband earns. As a mother,you should actually feel happy that your son is earning so much to keep another person happy as well as yourself. Don't feel jealous of the girl and spoil your sons life as well as the girls. Feel happy seeing other people happy.


I feel that it is better to be unmarried than fall into troubles after marriage as a saying goes "It is better to live with a known devil than with an unknown Angel". As a women I feel that even though India has come up in all ways there is no change in troubles caused to women. They used to say that long long years ago women were treated like burden of the household and were always kept in the kitchen and were treated as servants to look after men and satisfy them in all ways and look after the kids, etc. But even though India has developed in all sorts I feel this has not changed completely. Women are compelled to do various things out of the way and are kept inside the house by male chauvinistic men who always want to keep their wives under control. Even though women like me are more educated why we are not able to control such men? They are brought up by mothers who are also women. But these mothers don't think that they are also women and encourage their sons in whatever wrong deeds they are doing and they don't teach their sons from the very beginning that they should respect treat women as their equals. Some men do certain things to keep their wives from the worldly knowledge so that they would not know till the end that their husband's are committing mistakes like drinking or having another affair with some other women, etc. These men don't think they are trying to hide it from their own wives who will be taking care of them and their own children till the end. Where is this society going? Where are those God fearing men gone? India is a country which is known for its culture and heritage which fading away due to the western impact on men. There is no use blaming men alone. Some women they try to trap men who earn a lot of money and they don't care even if they are married and have children. Where is this society going? Men and Women! who are doing such illegal things should think atleast for a second about your wives and family before you fall into such traps and start committing mistakes.

Women! if you have a son(sons) then it is your duty to teach them that they should treat their wives properly and give them due respect and they should not go in search of another women if they have a wife at home even she is good looking or not. It is our duty Women! to bring up our sons good mannered and cultured. It is a specialty of Indian culture that if a man is married to women then he must live only with that women till the end. This only a women can possibly instigate in her children. Men also think that a lady doesnt have any rights to ask his salary and expenditure and any loans he has got or savings he has made,etc. It is not sure that we will live till the end and it is not sure that only a wife will die first. If something happens to husband and if a wife doesn't have any knowledge of all the above said things then how will she settle if there is any debts or how she will receive the savings in her hand. In this present world we cannot believe our people. If something happens to the husband and anybody can even tell a lie to the wife that your husband has got so much loans this and that and get the little savings also from her which she would have got in her hand after her husband's death. Then what security is there for her and her children.

Men! those who say to your wife that she doesn't have any rights to ask you what you do with the money you earn then think of the things I have said above. Every court of law says that a wife should know about what a husband does with his money. It is ok that you dont want to burden your wives with the thoughts of expenditure and etc. But you should keep her well informed even if you get a rupee from any one. It is her rightful rights to know this and try to tell her where you have kept important documents like your Insurance certificate,NSC, shares and stocks documents, Provident funds certificate, Income tax returns document, etc. so that the money you have saved will come into the hands of the rightful person. After all for whom you are earning so much for your wife and family. Try to love your wife the same way she is doing. You should always remember that a wife would love her husband however bad he is and however ugly he looks and however he denies the proper rights she should get. Try to show as much the same love she shows and has on you. Don't think that women are always wrong and no use in repenting in the future for what you have done. If you are thinking that you are fooling your wives then it is nothing but you are fooling yourself. There is saying in Tamil " Arasan andre Kolvan; Deivam Nindru kollum" which means kings will give punishment the same day, but God is waiting to punish each one of us for the mistakes we commit to punish us on the last Judgment Day. If you have not got punishments now don't ever think that God will never punish you. Now-a-days God punishes everyone then there. There is no waiting. Whatever you have done now you have to get the punishment then and there and there is no thoughts about the next birth or janma. So keep this in mind and don't feel happy that you have escaped from the eyes of your wives or your relatives or your friends. God is above all us. He is seeing you. If you say that you dont believe in God then you must at least believe that there is some supreme power above all of us who is leading us. There is a poem called "Ode to Duty" by John Keats where he says that Duty does it duties correctly, but we men don't do our duty and we are the sufferers finally as we have denied to do our duty. so "Do your duty properly, Duty will do its Duty automatically".
